In a house of 8...
We fight, we make mistakes, we have fun, we laugh often, we share, we work hard and play harder, we do loud; really well, we are happy, we listen and encourage, we say prayers, we say I’m sorry, we choose the right, we show respect, we help each other, we forgive, we never stop believing, we have faith, we love, we stick together; because family is a gift that lasts forever!

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, with all the negative stories involving Law enforcement lately, I made the kids wear blue (which happen to be NYPD shirts Dale brought home from NY while attending an officer's funeral) to show that we support our Law Enforcement Officers
The boys left for school before I could get a picture but they are also wearing blue.
To make the day even better, we went to Dale's award banquet for work where he was nominated as Officer of the Year
Bad picture, I was in the very back of the room, we had no idea he was receiving this award tonight.
I am so proud of him. He definitely deserves this award. He is hardworking, dedicated and loves his job

Andren's Baptism
We are in a whole new year and what better to start it off than with a Baptism. Andren was Baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints today. I am so proud of him and his decision.
This pretty little princess is all ready to go to big brothers Baptism.
This little guy is super excited to get Baptized
I am so grateful that Dale is able to baptize him.

Bricanie's 15th Birthday
This year Bricanie was torn weather or not to have a party, so we decided to throw her a surprise party. I was able to use the dance studio. We invited all of her friends from school and her dance team. Unfortunately because of the time of year most of them were out of town or sick.
I wasn't able to get pictures of when she came in, but here are a few that I did get.
They watched a movie, played games, and danced. We had pizza and a whole bunch of candy, popcorn and soda.

Finally Snow
We have gotten very little snow this year. The kids were so happy that there was finally enough snow to play in. It's not a ton, but they were happy.

Bricanie got Kendon a paracord book
Kierra got Andren little critter books
Kendon got Daxton a switch and go dino
Andren got Braelynn little ponies
Kids in bed, Santa has visited

Gingerbread Houses
We started a new tradition this year. Gingerbread Houses, I know this is nothing new to some of you, but for us this was the first time.
We cheated and made them out of graham crackers and put them on milk cartons.
The kids loved it.

I will pick gingerbread houses over carving pumpkins, or coloring Easter eggs any day.
