Expensive night

I took Bricanie, Andren, and Daxton in for a well child check up tonight. Since I was already going in they said I could bring Kierra in and have her looked at. Too much information for my little brain. I will break it down

Kierra- She has been sick since last Sunday. She has had a horrible cough and then started running a fever. two nights ago she said that her ear hurt and then yesterday said her throat hurt. Make a long story short she has pneumonia The only thing she has to decide now which kind whether it is walking or regular. I know they have names but I can not remember what she called them. She also has an ear infection, she also had blood in her ear which the dr. thought was odd. She put her on an antibiotic and told me to do breathing treatments every 4 hours. If she is not doing any better by Wednesday they will put her on some steroids and do some other things.

Bricanie.- Has sky rocketed in her height  she is 64 3/4 inches (5ft 3/4 inches) She is the height of a 13 1/2 or 14 year old, but her weight is actually a little under for her height, but the dr is ok with it. She is doing great in all areas but needs to go in for an x-ray on her spine. The dr. said that it was a little crooked, but she is not too worried about it she just wants to be safe and make sure nothing needs to be done.

Andren- Weight 35 pounds. 40 1/4 inch. He is in the 20th percentile for weight and 40 something I think 43 maybe 47th percentile for height. He had to get his kindergarten shots, even though he doesn't start kindergarten for another year and a half, but once they turn 4 they can get them. He was so brave and only cried a little bit. He has also been sick for the last week. He has croup and an ear infection. I had no idea, he never mentioned that his ear hurt at all. Poor guy. So he is also now on an antibiotic

Daxton-Good news his spleen and liver are going down. YAY no more blood tests at least not for that. He does have to go in and have his iron re-checked. He is already on antibiotics because he too has been sick with croup and an ear and eye infection. They are putting him on prevacid for acid reflux to see if that will help him with his spitting up. They also gave him a cream for eczema cause his is getting worse. And they are trying lotrimin for his yeast infection cause we can't get rid of it.(he has had it for over a month and everything we have tried has not worked) If that doesn't work by Wednesday they will call him in some diflucan. As for his weight he weighs 26 pounds 12 ounces and is 31 and 1/2 inches tall. 50th percentile for weight, but only the 20th percentile for height.

So after having to pay for 4 co-pays and 4 prescriptions it turned into a very expensive night. I am just hoping that they all get feeling better and we have no sickness for at least a few weeks.
