Today I took the kids to Hollywood connection 1. because it was labor day. 2. Because it was my nephew's birthday and that is where he wanted to go and 3. Because we had free passes.
We got their just a few minutes after they opened and ended up standing in line for approximately 40 mins.
Forgive the bad pictures, it was horrible lighting and I only had my cell phone.
The kids decided they wanted to go on the carousel first so that Daxton could go on a ride.
Bricanie, being the great big sister she is, took Daxton with her. Plus he would not go with anyone else.
Kierra riding by herself.
Kendon and Andren were on the other side of the carousel and I could not get their picture because it started moving and that was my Que to turn around as just watching that thing makes me sick.
After the carousel they kids went on the bumper cars and little dragon roller coaster and a few other rides several times before deciding it was time to go roller skating.
Look once again Bricanie being a good big sister and taking Andren around. We ended up having to rent the beginner skates for him because he could not even stand up on the regular ones. It was worth the 2.00 I had to pay though.
After we got him in these he was so excited that he could go around with the big kids. I know he doesn't look like it, he was mad cause I made him stop so I could take his picture.
While the older girls, Bricanie, Kierra, Emily, Amanda, and Tori continued to skate, the rest of us went minature golfing.
Daxton trying to hit his ball. Notice there is no ball close to him, but he was sure he was going to get it.
At least this time he is closer to the ball but still missed. Every time he tried to hit his ball everyone had to stand a ways back so we didn't get hit.
Daxton trying very hard to wait his turn and let Popee go first.
Towards the end of our game he finally figured out that you have to keep the club on the ground to hit the ball.
By the 17th hole he decided that he would much rather play on the cool dinosaur instead.
It was quite amusing to watch him try and play. It is a good thing we were not taking the game seriously.
After we left there we went home to get everything ready for the family to come over to our house for dinner.
We kept it simple since Dale was not home to cook and I didn't want to grill we did hoagie sandwiches and salads and chips and then desert.
