In our front yard we decided to built a raise flower bed under the two windows. So yesterday we spent all day leveling, building, and filling it with dirt along with washing rocks for the section in the backyard. Washing rocks is back breaking work. The girls and I would shovel them onto a screen frame then Dale would was them and move them into the bucket of the bobcat. Not sure how I missed taking a picture of the front yard, guess I will need to do that.
This section is where we are building a patio, 16'x16', with a firepit. We spent the day yesterday leveling and filling with road base, then leveling again.
Because we worked way to long and were all tired we decided it was time for a break. So the kids got to learn how to drive the bobcat. Kendon giving dad and Bricanie a lift.
Bricanie's turn.
Kendon talked Dale into lifting him in the bucket.
Bricanie wanted in on the action as well and wanted to see how high they could go.
Kierra didn't want to miss out on the fun and decided to join.
Putting the kids on the roof.
Time to get out.
Andren and Daxton join in.
And last but not least, Braelynn.
Andren was pretty scared as they went up. I didn't realize how much he doesn't like heights.
Andren decided he would just drive and not go up in the bucket.
Outside,dirt, rocks, bobcats=HAPPY kids.
