update

What a crazy week, and weekend!!!

Thursday Bricanie had to go to the dentist to have 2 teeth pulled. While one was small and painless, the second tooth caused a bit more pain. The dentist was quit amazed at the size of the root on the tooth he pulled out.
So here is a picture of both teeth that they pulled out.

see the pointy things on the tooth on the right? (I know how could you not) those are the roots. No wonder the poor thing didn't feel like going back to school. She has a big hole in her mouth where the tooth was. 

I also had my card swap. Our theme was Halloween. I got lots of way cute cards. Had awesome food and enjoyed GREAT company. 

Here is the card I made for it. I embroidered the ghost sucker holder and put it on a card. I think it turned out ok, the only problem is mailing it.

Friday I spent the day cleaning my house that I neglected for 2 days while I was sick. Although by the time the kids got home from school you couldn't tell. I also made two towels; one for a birthday party Kierra went to from 6-11:30 and one for a birthday party we had the next day.

 Instead of cleaning again and doing stuff that I needed to do I decided to make  these cute and easy Halloween blocks that I found HERE, All because Lana (my friend) had made hers and I did not think it was ok that hers were done and mine were not.
I plan on putting them on my table in the front room.  It says they cut theirs 3x5 1/2 but I already had 6 inch pieces of wood cut for another project that I decided to use. I had the paint left over from my Halloween blocks that I made last year along with everything else I needed to make them (aside from a nose for Frankenstein cause I didn't want to draw it on).

So here they are. I think we are going to try making a bat and a witch

Saturday we had Gymnastics at 10:30 a soccer game at 11:00 another soccer game at 12:00 and then we went up to my mom's house to help her put up her Halloween decorations with my Brother,Sister in law and  their 2 kids. We were only able to stay for a couple of hours and did not even make a dent in what she has when we had to leave and go to a birthday party for a friends son.

We had yummy food and great company. After that we took the kids home and put them all in the shower/bath and put them to bed.

Sunday we had church. Dale stayed home with Daxton who had been running a fever for 3 days and Kendon who said his throat hurt.

After we put the kids to bed we watched Karate Kid. It was ok,

Now that brings us to today.

Kendon woke up twice in the middle of the night complaining that his throat hurt so he stayed home from school.

I got the whole upstairs cleaned, dusted, vacuumed, laundry done, and Daxton down for a nap and then Dale, I, Kendon and Andren watched Marmaduke. The boys seemed to enjoy it. I thought it was just like any other talking animal show.

I ended up taking Kendon to the dr. and he tested positive for strep. Surprise? not really. She also checked the two little boys and Daxton had a strep rash and Andren ended up having strep as well. They gave me prescriptions for all three of them and one for Bricanie who had been complaining about a sore throat earlier today.

After a trip to Walmart and 4 hours of being gone, the kids are all on antibiotics. This makes 6 cases of strep at our house less than a week. Dale is the only one who hasn't gotten it. Lets cross our fingers that he doesn't.

The kids are all showered/bathed and are in the middle of watching Karate kid.  Then they will be going to bed.
