An Experience-Temple Walk

Today Bricanie had the opportunity to participate in a Temple walk for the last day of youth conference for our stake (the first two days are for 14 and older), which consisted of walking 15.5 miles to three temples.

They met at the stake center at 6 in the morning and were driven to the first Temple
Which was Draper Temple*, from there they walked approximately 9.5miles to...
Jordan River Utah Mormon Temple
the Jordan River Temple* and then approximately 6 miles to
Oquirrh Mountain Utah Mormon Temple
The Qqurrih Mountain Temple* which was their final destination.

We were asked to support the youth by cheering them on at the end. The kids made a poster(ok a banner really) for Bricanie to break through. They all drew pictures and wrote words of encouragement on it.You might be wondering why it says Stand Bricanie. Stand is the theme for conference which stands for Stay true and never deviate.
Bricanie and Maddi stopping to get misted by someone with a squirt bottle.

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of her going through her banner because my memory card was full.

She finsihed the entire walk in just over 7 hours which isn't all that bad considering it was 99 degrees today.

I am so proud of her and hope that she will remember this experience forever.
