scout trip

Today I took my scouts on a field trip to the Fire Station. Not only was it a fun little outing, it passed off one of their requirements.
Having the parts of the truck explained to them
looking at all the gadgets
checking out the inside of the truck.
Kendon on the truck.

The boys all had fun and we all learned something new...the difference between a fire truck and a fire engine. Do you know the difference? If you said that a truck has a ladder and an engine doesn't you are right. So if you see a truck with out a ladder it is a fire engine if it has a ladder it is a fire truck.

  1. I didn't know the difference between a fire truck and a fire engine. Good to know. I just taught Caleb the difference. (He's sitting on my lap while I'm on the computer. And he's driving me crazy!)
