Halloween

The kids had their Halloween parade/party at school today. I remember as a kid we always got dressed up and paraded through each class room and the gym where all the other kids and parents got a chance to see our costumes. I know not every school does it but am glad that my kids get to do it even though I know the think it is embarrassing

Kendon...my zombie. This year it was Kendon's turn to take Andren with him to walk through the classrooms.

Kierra...my bumble bee

Bricanie...My hippie. Since it is her last year to do a parade she got to take Daxton with her.


Once the parade was over it was time for class parties.I am room mom for Kierra's class and was in charge of her party so I split them into groups and had 3 different rotations, a game, a treat, and a craft. you may remember these blocks I made last year...

Well I had each of the kids pick one that they wanted to make and this was their craft.

I think it went ok the kids all seemed to have fun.

Trick or treating was a little different for us this year. I took Kierra,Andren, and Daxton trick or treating while Kendon went with his friend and his friends dad. And Bricanie went out with a group of her friends. I had a hard time letting them go with someone else other than me or Dale but they were so excited.

After being out for close to 4 hours the kids all decided they were tired and we could go home. Every year we separate the candy into chocolate and non chocolate.

Over all I think they made out quite well and will be eating candy for a while, unless I decide to send it to Dale's work first.
